The Great Struggle at South-EX

This is typically not something which we all should learn it by heart because we are not going to sit over an examination with writing all the basic information about this struggle, the only reason not to learn it by heart is that this struggle takes place or happens every morning and evening between 8:30 am - 11:00 am and 6:00 pm - 9:45 pm. This is one such struggle where every commoner is a part of it by will or sometimes not by will!

The struggle is related to every commuter in Delhi or NCR region whosoever passes through this portion of RING ROAD in Delhi NCR around this time of the day, at least 1500 vehicles have to pass from South-Ex on either side of the ring road in one minute and it creates a chaotic situation for a daily commuter like me and many more who are generous enough to give go ahead to travelling in Public Transport...

I could not imagine though I have been a part of this almost for 9 months now how many gallons of this precious liquid gold which we call Petrol is consumed in this ordeal that has become a part of our lives. And this is not just about South Extension only, the complete stretch from Bhikaji Cama Palace till Maharani Bagh is a mess in between this time period. And just like some prestigious martyrs of Indian Freedom struggle many have lost their lives on this stretch in an ordeal to earn bread and butter for their families. And we say Delhi is gearing up for upcoming Common wealth games, really are we???

Blue lines buses have begun to be phased out, so what will happen to those drivers who drive these buses? Aren't they supposed to move on with the phased out buses, but here is a catch the phased out public transport will pave way for some DTC buses but are they ready with these many drivers in time? So its only a matter of seconds to guess the drivers of phased out buses are going to be hired and would deliver the same maniac ways of showcasing how funny could driving in NCR would be!

I could only say, we all can hope for the best in future and may the best be delivered! Maybe than we would have to remember, 'The Great Struggle at South -Extension - 1998 -----) as we do in a history class! Amen!
